Chaperones' Feedback

At the beginning, some students in the team were not fluent in English and felt very nervous every time they were called on to speak. However, as time went by, they summoned up the courage to try again and again, gradually integrated into the new environment, and formed a close and harmonious relationship with their host families. At the cross cultural night, they helped foreign friends try on Hanfu and confidently presented Chinese culture in English. This progress has further clarified the significance of immersive cultural experiences. In terms of my own job, as a counselor for foreign - language majors, I have gained a deeper understanding of American family structures and cultural values through these interactions. These cross - cultural experiences have undoubtedly broadened my understanding of the majors and learning experiences of the students I am in charge of.

The training activities for the overall project arrangement are very rich in content and full of useful information. During our visit to the United Nations Office at Vienna, senior experts from multiple international organizations gave lectures to everyone. The students felt that they had gained a great deal. The course arrangement is very logical. The foreign teachers were involved in the activity design throughout the process and provided feedback after each class. They were relatively strict with the students. Therefore, I think the overall activity arrangement is scientific and reasonable, which reflects the careful organization and arrangement of the project team for the practical activities

Leading a group independently for the first time, and the students in the group come from schools all over the country. It's a brand - new attempt and challenge for me. The students deeply experienced American culture and society in a foreign land. Through on - site inspections and exchanges, they gained a more profound understanding of the industry development and social operation in the United States. The project was designed in a compact and rigorous way, and the schedule was rich and colorful. Meanwhile, the students demonstrated good teamwork spirit and cross - cultural communication skills during the project. The project was a successful educational practice. It not only deepened the students' understanding of American society but also promoted the all - around development of their personal abilities."
